Questions / Method

Know what the number means.

01How is stock return calculated?+

Net proceeds minus total cost produces profit or loss. Dividing that amount by total cost produces the return percentage. Entered buy and sell fees are included.

02What is the break-even stock price?+

It is the sale price per share required to recover the entry cost plus the buy and sell fees entered into the calculator.

03Does this include taxes or dividends?+

No. The first release models a direct purchase and sale using prices, shares, and optional transaction fees. Taxes, dividends, slippage, and currency conversion are excluded.
